ABOMINABLE BOOKS: Home to the critically acclaimed The Abominable Charles Christopher by renowned comic artist Karl Kerschl. The imprint was created to bring the beloved Eisner-award-winning webcomic to print and introduce it to a broader audience. The series follows the adventures of a child-like sasquatch through a forest full of colourful animal characters and has three volumes available already.

DEREK LAUFMAN: The place where this long-term comic veteran has been publishing his own comics and graphic novels, including Ruinworld, Bot-9, and The Witch Of Wickerson. Derek Laufman is a professional comic artist and illustrator with over 20 years of experience who has worked with Marvel, Dreamworks, TOPPS, Hasbro, and Mattel. He is the designer of Marvel’s Super Hero Adventure line and DC’s Super Friends.

GROUP OF 7 COMICS: A small publisher who had turned a great many heads since the launch of its acclaimed creator-owned comic books Group 7 and Peregrines — founded by Chris Sanagan and Jason Lapidus. Their mission is simple - tell great stories.

LETHAL COMICS: A "FOR US, BY US" comics company making the far-out comics they loved growing up and bringing them straight to the fans. No bullshit, just dope comics. Founded by Karl Kerschl and Andy Belanger. Their featured books include Mother Trucker, Psychogoreman, and the upcoming Orc Gym and Death Transit Tanager.

PEGAMOOSE PRESS: Founded by Brenda Hickey & Troy Little, two artists brought together by their mutual love of comics and cartoons. The publisher began as a means to find an audience of weirdos who shared the same sense of fun, imagination, and a love of books. Their featured books include Angora Napkin: The Golden McGuffin, Halls of the Turnip King, and Butterfly House.

PLUS, our very own creators at THE RAID STUDIO and RAID PRESS. Not only will we be featuring characters from our existing books like Forest Folk, Kukuburi, To Steal The Sun, but we'll also be revealing new characters from upcoming projects set to debut later this year!

RAID PRESS / The deluxe Mr. Monster slipcase edition is officially available at the RAIDPress.com store! 

A bit of background for any RAID newbies, Mr. Monster was one of the many heroes created during the Golden Age of Canadian comics. These “Canadian whites,” as they have since been dubbed due to the stark white paper they were printed on, resulted from the War Exchange Conservation Act during World War II. So, sit back and enjoy the bizarre adventures of this unique hero, collected for the first time.

This collection also includes rare, never before seen art, an interview with original Mr. Monster creator Fred Kelly, and an original pin-up gallery from over two-dozen contemporary Canadian artists!
